Issue Position

"I'll continue the fight to protect our water. I strongly oppose Governor Brown's plan to build "peripheral tunnels' to export our water to Southern California. I will also push for new dams and stronger levees to protect lives and property and to increase our water supply. I'll also continue to work hard to strengthen our private property rights. I fought for, and won, key provisions in water negotiations to protect historical "area-of origin' water rights so vital to our North State farmers and ranchers."
